When lives are on the line, every second counts. Immediate Action is an intensive, one-day, hands-on workshop designed for armed citizens, or any preparedness minded individual, who wants to be ready for the worst-case scenario, whether it happens on the range or in a real-world encounter.

This 8-hour class blends tried and true emergency response training with real-world application. You’ll complete nationally recognized CPR/AED, First Aid and Stop the Bleed certification programs while going far beyond the basics with advanced practical, scenario-driven training.

Course topics include:

  • General first aid skills, including identification of cardiac emergencies and life-threatening illnesses.
  • First response to gunshot wounds and other major-bleeding emergencies.
  • Tourniquet selection and application under stress.
  • Chest seal use and management of penetrating trauma.
  • Pressure dressing application and wound packing.
  • Hands-on medical scenarios based on real life emergencies.

Whether you’re carrying daily or training regularly, Immediate Action gives you the confidence and capability to respond when help is minutes away, and survival depends on you.

Intended Audience: 
Immediate Action is ideal for concealed carriers, range safety officers, and anyone who wants to be prepared to save lives in critical situations.

Important Information:

This course involves hands-on scenarios which may be held outdoors regardless of weather and involve light physical exertion (running to victims, performing rescue measures, operating communications devices, etc.). If you require accommodations or have questions, please contact us prior to completing a registration.

The host location for this course is located in a rural area with limited services nearby. It is recommended that students bring sufficient food and water for breaks and/or lunch, as it may not be possible to travel to services in the allotted time frames.

Payment is due in full at the time of course registration to reserve your spot in this training course. Refund requests must be made by emailing training@ospiria.com and are subject to the following restrictions:

  • Cancellations by students made 14 days or more in advance of the course date will be eligible for a refund of tuition paid minus a 10% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations by the student made less than 14 days in advance of the course date are ineligible for refund of tuition paid, however, you may transfer your registration to a friend or family member free of charge.
  • Cancellations by the course organizer or host site will be eligible for a full refund of tuition paid, with no cancellation fee.

This course requires a minimum enrollment of 10 students. If the minimum enrollment is not met by June 25, 2025 at 12:00pm, the course will be cancelled or rescheduled, and all students will be given the option of transferring their registration to the new date or to receive a full refund of tuition paid.
